Alpine Country Store and RV Park is a quaint little RV park which has the feel of a campground. It is easily accessible and right off Hwy 95 behind a gas station/liquor store and a drive-thru coffee company. What more do you need? The gas station even sells propane along with a few other grocery items. The RV Park registration is in the gas station.
The RV Park provides both pull thru and back-in sites with lots of trees. This may affect your satellite reception so choose your site carefully. Most sites are full hookups (numbered sites) but a few sites are just water and electric (lettered sites). There is a dump station on site which is a bit awkward in both its’ physical location and the sewer connection location. It is on a corner and you may have to pull up on the grass but it seems to work.
With the location next to a highway AND a railroad track it can be noisy at times but in the middle of the night all is quiet. The staff at the park, which is actually at the gas station, could not be friendlier or more helpful. We quite enjoyed our visit and would return again if we needed to be in the area.

Comments: A charming campground with level, long sites and easy access to Coeur d’Alene, Farragut State Park, and Silverwood theme park. It is easily accessible with a big rig and has some tall trees for some much required shade in the summer. Site 9 turned out to be an excellent site for satellite reception and was a bit further from the highway and train tracks then some of the other sites which helped with the noise.
There are showers, restrooms, and a laundry on-site along with WiFi which has intermittent usability. A paved bike path runs parallel to hwy 95 with easy access for walking or biking but the noise of the highway traffic during the day is a bit much.
Here’s are photos of some of the pull-thru sites and the back-ins.
