Campground: Hoh Rainforest
Location: Olympic National Park, Washington
Site: 29 – Loop A
Cost: $12
Services: Dry camp
Comments: Beautiful campground in the middle of the rainforest. Our site was right on the rivers edge in a clearing. A crow stole one of our steaks on the BBQ, be careful. Lots of Elk in the area. We went out hiking for hours in search of the Elk to photograph and could not find any. Upon return we see that the Elk have surrounded our RV. We had to wait an hour or so for them to leave so we could get into the RV. Lesson learned: If you want to find Elk just sit there and they will come.
