Seriously, how can you really judge a place when you are the only ones there. We love to travel off-season and have places to ourselves. Glen Elder was one of those places. We had the entire campground to ourselves which means peace, quiet, serenity, and solitude. Perfect!
After leaving Glen Elder it is just a hop, skip, and a jump to Cawker City to see the “World’s Largest Ball of Twine” and then 30 minutes later you are in Lebanon, Kansas which is the “geographical center of the US”. Life is good!
