The incredible beauty of the Kenai Fjords is hard to resist. We decided to take a day cruise on Resurrection Bay in the Kenai Fjords National Park departing from Seward. And are we glad we did. It turned out to be a perfect day. The weather was fantastic, the sky was blue, the sea was calm, and we saw tons of sealife. It was even so calm the captain decided to take us out into the Gulf of Alaska. What a great day! Nothing finer than seeing a pod of Killer Whales (Orcas) and their calves. A beautiful sight.
