We had headed to Tennessee the previous November and put our RV in storage while we headed back west for the holidays. We then returned after the New Year and picked it up to head south. Little did we know a huge ice storm was coming in. Instead of spending the night in the RV in the storage hangar we got the word to get out of Dodge as quick as we could cause the storm was coming. We drove to Clinton that night and got a spot right off the interstate thinking that if the storm arrived that night at least we would be close to a major road which was flat. Otherwise we would have been either stranded or having to drive a windy, hilly, narrow, steep, icy road with drop-offs to get to an interstate.

Site: 39

Comments: Perfect for an overnighter. Right off I-75 on a flat spot. Easy on and easy off, especially in an ice storm that was on our tail (Atlanta ice storm Jan 2011).
