This is one of our all time favorite parks. I know I say that a lot, at least it seems like I do but this one is the epitome of what I think a campground should look like, tall pine trees and lots of space between sites. We have stopped here a number of times before for day use but have never spent the night here until now. We love, love, love it here. It is about 20km south of Cranbrook and 10km north of Moyie with easy access of Highway 95.
Campground: Moyie Lake Provincial Park
Location: Moyie, British Columbia
Site: 27
Cost: $28 (CAD)
Services: Dry camp
Comments: A beautiful campground with tall pines and spacious sites. Our site, 27, was right next to the path to the lake and provided solitude and peace and quiet. In the wee early hours of the morning you could hear the birds on the lake and the echos of their sounds.

The rest of the campground sites seemed very similar to ours, nice and spacious.
Right next to our site was a path that led a short distance to the lake. Quick and easy to walk there and enjoy a hike on the beach, a paddle in the water, or a swim in the lake.
It is funny how many times we say “this is one of our favorites!” I guess there are just too many awesome places to visit:)
Yep, Pam, that’s the problem….too many places and not enough time!
