Another beautiful campground at Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada is Arch Rock Campground. It is right next to Atlatl Campground (actually around the corner from Atlatl Rock), has 29 sites, some large, some small, some uneven, and the entire campground is a bit more primitive than Atlatl. All sites are dry camping and there are no showers but there is a dump station with potable water across from Atlatl Rock.
Most sites are surrounded by the beautiful red rocks that are known so well in Valley of Fire. This campground does close in the winter leaving only Atlatl Campground open. Times and dates are up to the discretion of the park rangers. And the campground can be a full capacity in the spring. Get there early in the day!
