We have stayed at the Palm Canyon Campground countless times and find that even through it can be almost full in the winter (Jan, Feb, March) we can almost always get a spot for a few nights. We sometimes make reservations ahead of time if need be but not always. The park was less than 50% full in December, what a welcome change!
The park has palm trees at almost every site and lots of hummingbirds and a few roadrunners running through the desert. Just enough entertainment to keep us going but not too much to disrupt our peaceful existence!
