Palm Canyon Campground is our usual campground we stay at in the Borrego Springs area in between boondocking stints.
Campground: Anza Borrego State Park – Palm Canyon Campground
Location: Borrego Springs, California
Site: 41 and 47 (both pull-thrus)
Cost: $33 ($2 discount for seniors)
Services: FHU (30 AMP)
Comments: Big, long sites with FHU, surrounded by palm trees, perfect for to do laundry (in rig) and take long hot showers after boondocking for weeks.
We actually stayed a few nights in site 41 due to the flooding and rainstorms in the area and then went out boondocking for a week or two and then came back into the campground for a few weeks with a reservation we made last summer. We FINALLY got site 47 which I have been trying to get for years. A great site and a perfect place for the grand kids to come visit us. We had a blast!
Besides hiking the Panorama Trail and the Palm Canyon Oasis Trail a few times, we hiked over the Visitor’s Center a few times and over to Hellhole Canyon.
Our site had a lovely view of sunrise from just outside the front door.
