Bonito Campground – Coconino National Forest – Arizona

We departed Page and headed south over Antelope Pass with spectacular scenery and a beautiful autumn day.

Location: About 12 miles north of Flagstaff, Arizona just outside entrance to Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument
Site: 31 – pull along
Cost: $13 (that’s with half off due to Interagency Pass)
Services: dry camping
Comments: One of our favorite campgrounds. It was a Friday morning when we arrived and the campground was almost full. The host had told us the week before to get here before 9am or 10am on a Friday if we wanted any chance to get a site. We were lucky to snag a site. Our favorite sites were already taken for the weekend. But this site turned out to be great.
