On our drive north from Wells, Nevada to Twin Falls, Idaho we stopped in Jackpot, Nevada for a lunch break. Jackpot is just on the Nevada/Idaho border. Cactus Pete’s Casino makes a good spot to stop, park, and eat a bit of lunch.
Cactus Pete’s has an RV Park called Saguaro RV Park which is next to the casino. There are two sections to the RV Park, one directly to the south of the casino and another section behind the casino to the east. I walked through the one on the south. The entrance to the RV park is directly to the right of our rig above. We have never stayed there but it looked like an easy in, easy out RV park for a good rate. The sites looked long and level.
As we headed north it was only minutes before we entered Idaho. YAY!
And then on to Twin Falls and a bit further north to Jerome to our KOA.
RV Park: Twin Falls/Jerome Jerome KOA
Location: Jerome, Idaho
Site: 22 (pull thru)
Cost: $64.37
Services: FHU (50AMP)
Comments: An OK RV Park with easy access to Twin Falls. There is a large fuel station less than 1 mile to the south which was convenient for filling up. Noise along the highway was not bad at night. It was certainly a relief to have 50AMP to run the A/C as the temp outside was 102 degrees F. The RV park was full every night with many staying for just one night.
The RV park has a number of pull thru sites, lots of back-in sites, tent sites, and cabins. There is also a pool for those hot days.
It was a pleasant enough area to walk around with lots of flowers and a number of peep hole boards around (is that what you call them?).
The location of the park was ideal for us and our trips around Twin Falls.
