Welcome to Taber – Corn Capital of Canada. Taber is a town in southern Alberta that is famous for its sweet corn due to the abundance of sunshine in the area. The corn is known for its taste and quality due to the perfect growing conditions. Taber has small town charm and hosts a Taber Cornfest in August which is a free 3-day family festival.
The Taber Municipal Campground is situated along the Oldman River on 60 acres with shaded campsites and open campsites. They do accept reservations online and when you show up you just read the board at the entrance to confirm your site number.

Comments: A lovely, peaceful campground with great hosts and lovely walking trails with easy access to the river.
There are a number of pull-thru sites and back-in sites located in various loops.
There are also a number of grassy areas for tents, day use, picnic areas, and volleyball.
The park is a lovely area and a perfect place to stop for the night.
