The last territorial park you will pass heading east along the Ingraham Trail is Reid Lake Territorial Park. A beautiful park on the lake. If you go on a weekend in summer make sure you have a reservation as it gets full from all the locals in Yellowknife. Don’t camp in the lower area near the trees during summer or you will get lots of insects. Camp up in the higher area along the ridge where you have a nice breeze, great views, and nature at its finest.
Campground: Reid Lake Territorial Park
Location: East of Yellowknife on Ingraham Trail
Cost: $20 (CAD)
Services: Dry camp
Comments: This park can be loud and crowded on weekends in the summer so aim to arrive mid-week. Also many of the sites are reserved by the same people for all summer.
