Comments: A lovely campground which sits along the Jordanelle reservoir within close proximity of Park City and Deer Valley with lots of hiking and biking opportunities.
The Hailstone campground has multiple camping loops spread over a large area with sites for everyone from tenters up to RVs. Some of the loops are a bit hilly and some sites are unlevel and some sites have fantastic views. Sites 75-81 in the Murdock Loop offer some of the best views and are directly lakefront. A dump station is available on site.
The state park has a marina, general store, and a lovely reservable cabana day use area with a beach and swimming area. On many days you can see a few sailboats cruising around the bay. All in all this is a lovely and peaceful campground.
