This campground is part of the Lake Powell Resort in the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area in Arizona and borders Utah (so every day we would ride our bikes from Arizona to Utah and back again) and Lake Powell. It is a beautiful setting with great views in every direction.

Rubys Inn RV Park And Campground – Bryce Canyon City, Utah
It’s late October and by this time Bryce could be cold and full of snow as we had discovered in previous years. But this year we lucked out and had beautiful, dry weather and sunny warm days and the nights were down to freezing. We had wanted to stay
Continue readingWillard Bay State Park – Cottonwood Campground – Utah
We’re back! We have stayed at this campground a few times before and seem to keep coming back. Yes, it is very noisy here due to the proximity to I-15 but it is so convenient with easy off and easy off from the interstate and it’s location just north of
Continue readingFarewell Bend Recreation Area – Huntington, Oregon
We had a lovely drive in eastern Oregon with beautiful weather, gorgeous views, and snow capped mountains. Along the drive we had noticed an RV ahead of us with great tail lights which we both commented on. A bit later the RV took an exit for a rest area and

During the past weeks we have experienced a variety of weather patterns. We have had wind, rain, hail, hot weather, high humidity, and enough mosquitoes to last a lifetime. Central Alberta has been getting its share of rain this summer which means the bugs were out. But after we

Radium Hot Springs is a small town in British Columbia just south of the entrance to Kootenay National Park and about a 1 1/2 hour drive to Banff National Park in Alberta. The town is known for its mineral springs, an odourless hot pool full of minerals and kept at
Continue readingHells Gate State Park – Lewiston, Idaho
The drive from Weiser to Lewiston along Hwy 95 is one of our favorite drives. From New Meadows to Whitebird the highway parallels the Little Salmon River and provides great views and wonderful rest areas (pull-offs) which are plentiful and spacious. These are great for a lunch break, a rest,

The weather changed that day from Nevada from being cold, wet, and windy to southern Idaho being hot and dry. It was in the 90’s (Fahrenheit) when we arrived in the early afternoon. We had a very warm night and even with the windows open we heard very little
