Finding Our Way
We departed Layton, Utah to the sounds of jets roaring above us from Hill AFB. The Sound of Freedom. On our way south we headed west on I-80 to skirt the southern edge of the Great Salt Lake and pass the Great Salt Lake State Park and the famous Saltair.

Today was a long drive as we headed south through Montana seeing roundups along the way, then on to Idaho checking out crops and crop dusters, passing Malelucca (one of our favorite companies) in Idaho Falls, admiring the scenery in Pocatello (one of our favorite towns), and on into Utah!

We departed Shelby and headed south hoping to make it to Dillon. The weather was OK but we hit areas with lots of smoke and dark skies somewhere south of Helena. We continued on through Butte and The Berkeley Pit which which also had a bit of a dark sky

We departed Waterton Lakes National Park and drove north, via Drumheller (land of the dinosaurs), and on to central Alberta to visit friends and family. We ended up moochdocking for several weeks around the area with relatives and then headed to Camrose for a week or so to get full

The drive from Glacier National Park in Montana to Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta took us along the southern edge of Glacier National Park, over to Browning, Montana and thru the Blackfeet Indian Reservation, and on up to Canada. We departed Flathead Lake and drove north through Flathead County to the western edge of Glacier National Park passing by beautiful ranches and small towns with cute little shops. The West Glacier KOA sits about 3 miles from the western entrance of Glacier National Park and is a perfect location
